This role will focus largely on defining global product strategy for the company and their core Duolingo learning app. They’re searching for an empathetic sage who will advocate for our learners’ most important needs, while helping them identify new opportunities to increase the efficacy of Duolingo for their learners.

Thick Descriptions is looking for a Social Media Assistant (4-6 hours per week)to work closely with the Social Media Manager. For this position candidates would assist with graphic design through Canva/upload to community calendars, video edit thru an Adobe product (Rush), assist with content development including images and creating engaging content for Thick Descriptions social media presence. The social media assistant also supports the manager in keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused and, seeks out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences, and social media management with large projects, events, and community management. The assistant works as part of a team to develop large social media campaigns, proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content, and works with marketing and social media team members to coordinate ad campaigns with social media strategy.
