Hello Readers! We have two fascinating positions this week, one at The University of Tennessee’s Forensic Anthropology Center and another at BetterUp. Check them out!
The University of Tennessee Anthropology Department is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Research Specialist II for the Forensic Anthropology Center (FAC) for a duration of one year that may be extended depending upon funding. This position will assist the FAC Director with managing a biometric research project.
The FAC is a partner in a multi-agency research and development project examining the capture of biometric indicators (iris, face and fingerprints) throughout the postmortem period. Thus, the successful candidate will be trained to use hand-held biometric sensor devises to collect postmortem data from donors. In addition, the successful candidate will collect biometric data from living subjects in several events throughout the year. Further, the successful applicant will help facilitate other research at the Anthropology Research Facility (ARF) and also assist with FAC short course preparations.
