AnthroJob of the Week, 16 December 2017 and hiatus

In keeping with the present news cycle, the job this week is located in Huntsville, Alabama.

KFS is looking for a Cultural Resources Specialist III to be based in AL, but telecommuting is also acceptable. More specifically, they are looking for a Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) or someone who can meet the requirements of an RPA.

The Cultural Resources Specialist III will be required to work in a wide range of settings with varied responsibilities and assignments thought the United States and other countries or territories. The Cultural Resources Specialist III is responsible for implementation and oversight of cultural resources projects and analysis at KFS. 

The minimum professional qualifications are a graduate Master’s degree in anthropology, archaeology, or historic archaeology, and a minimum of 7-10 years of practical experience including minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a field archaeologist. Among the other qualifications, applicants must be familiar with the preparation and completions of an Integrated Cultural Resources Management Plan (ICRMP) and a Cultural Resources Evaluation (CRE).
