sNAPAshots: Season One
This entry is part 13 of 35 in the sNAPAshots section
We’ve had an incredible sNAPAshots Season One with twelve PPA Anthropologists telling their stories and sharing their career insights! We’ll be back in April 2023!
Joshua Liggett, MS, LSSBB, CPHQ
Joshua has a passion for working with people to solve human problems and striving to make the world a more benevolent and efficient place to call home. Trained as a professional anthropologist, his expertise includes design and execution of both qualitative and quantitative data collection, management, analysis, and reporting for the purposes of evaluation and identifying improvement opportunities.

The SNAPAshots are great and I am using them in my anthropology capstone class! In fact, as an assignment, I am having the students each create their own “SNAPAshot” about their lives in anthropology. However, I am disappointed that you have not included interviews with people who do CRM or other forms of applied archaeology nor was there an interview with a forensic anthropologist! These are probably the two major career paths that my students are heading for (though I am a cultural anthropologist, myself). I hope you can add more interviews with anthropologists working in the areas of archaeology and bioathropology in the next round. Thank you!
