Tenured and Tenure-Track Full-time Faculty Appointment American Indian Studies Center

The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) seeks an outstanding scholar who can make a strong contribution to teaching and research in American Indian Studies. Candidates must have a demonstrated commitment to American Indian Studies (understood as an interdisciplinary field) as displayed by publications in American Indian Studies and/or their chosen discipline or field of specialization. We are especially interested in applicants from the fields of Anthropology (Cultural, Historical and Linguistic), English and Comparative Literature, Public Policy, Psychology, and World Arts and Cultures. However, exceptional candidates from other fields will be considered.

A Ph.D. or equivalent degree at the time of application, with evidence of strength or great potential in research, teaching, and professional service are required. Scholars at all levels are encouraged to apply. Salary will be commensurate with experience and level of appointment.
