Search indeed.com using ‘anthropology‘ as the keyword, and four of the top six job listings involve some sort of usability research or user experience research. The positions seek both bachelors and graduate level degrees, with relevant experience.

The pay levels are upwards of $70K. The specific positions include a consumer insights analysis with Nautilus fitness in D.C.; a user design researcher with Ascensia Diabetes Care in Valhalla, N.Y.; a user experience researcher for Amica Insurance Company in Lincoln, R.I.; and a usability researcher through DoubleBlaze Consulting in Research Triangle Park, N.C.
