The United States Institute of Peace (USIP) is looking for a Research Assistant to join their team. USIP is a nonpartisan institute chartered by Congress to tackle the world’s toughest problems. The institute is headquartered in Washington, DC.

Research assistants provide research and support for the Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) program housed within the Global Practice and Innovation at USIP’s Center for Applied Conflict Transformation.

This position is open to U.S. citizens or nationals of countries listed in a U.S. Collective Defense Arrangement per the Department of State. Applicants must have a Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in related field (i.e., international relations, international peace and conflict resolution, political science, security studies, sociology, anthropology, psychology or another relevant social science subject) preferred.
