L’oréal is looking for a Functional Lead of Research & Innovation within Consumer Product Evaluation in Clark, New Jersey. The AVP of Consumer Evaluation will “embody & drive the consumer point of view to enhance and assess perceived product performance… with PPE counterparts in all L’Oréal R&I Hubs around the world.” As such you’ll need to be a consumer science expert with a Masters or PhD, a strong working knowledge of statistics, and 10 plus years of experience working within a large company. The Center for Court Innovation is seeking a part-time Site Director in Baltimore, MD to “manage a mixed-method, participatory action research study of gun culture among youth 16-24 as part of a five-city study funded by the National Consortium of Gun Violence Research.” The Center for Court Innovation is a non-profit organization that “works to create a more effective and humane justice system by performing original research and helping launch reforms by guiding justice innovators, nationally and internationally… The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. or M.A. with meaningful research experience, preferably in criminal justice, ethnography, or a related field. Experience supervising qualitative research studies and familiarity with participatory action research methods is preferred. Experience coding and analyzing qualitative data, including use of data analysis software and the ability to participate fully in fieldwork,” working nights, weekends and traveling to convenings in New York City.
