Be Loud, Be Proud Professional/Practicing/Applied Anthropologists!

NAPA invites professional, practicing, and applied (PPA) anthropologists to show our colors at the upcoming AAA meeting in St. Louis, MO Wednesday, November 18, 2026 – Saturday, November 22, 2026 – there are options for both in-person and virtual attendance.

The theme this year is “On the Verge” – this is at the heart of what we do!
Professional sessions are key to the meetings being stimulating and fun for all PPA anthropologists. Share something fascinating/useful/important! Good project? Good research? Amazing outcomes?

Gather your team, call your friends!

Propose:

  • Individually Volunteered Paper (Virtual option)
  • Poster
  • Installation
  • Discussion (Virtual option)
  • Oral Presentation (Virtual option)
  • Discussion (formerly Roundtable/Town Hall, Conversation, Interview)


Proposals for the General Call for Participation must be submitted in the General Call for Participation Submission Portal by 11:59 PM Eastern on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. Go to: https://annualmeeting.americananthro.org/submit/ for AAA submission guidance and to submit a proposal.
