AAA Annual Meeting “Unsettling Landscapes” – November 9-13, 2022: General Call for Participation

Be Loud, Be Proud Professional/Practicing/Applied Anthropologists!

NAPA invites professional, practicing, and applied (PPA) anthropologists to show your colors at the upcoming AAA meeting in Seattle November 9 -13 and will offer options for both in-person and virtual attendance. Professional papers and sessions are key to the meetings being stimulating and fun for all PPA anthropologists. Don’t just complain about the lack of interesting information, share something fascinating/useful/important! Good project? Good research? Amazing outcomes? Propose:

  • oral presentation sessions
  • roundtables
  • conversations or debates
  • interviews
  • podcasts
  • individually-volunteered papers
  • flash presentation sessions
  • posters (both in-person and virtual)
  • talks

The call for proposals is open and all submissions must be started by Wednesday, March 30 at 11:59 PM ET. All submissions must be completed by Wednesday, April 6 at 11:59 PM ET. Choose a format using the interactive tool to select your presentation type and format. Designate NAPA as the section to review your proposal.

Call your friends, dig that research out of your hard drive – share your hard and meaningful work with our anthropological community! Be Loud!
