We are currently seeking a talented Qualitative Research Analyst for our San Antonio, TX facility.
As a Qualitative Research Analyst, you will provide comprehensive customer experience and process engineering skills for the staff areas of USAA. Manages multiple projects of intermediate-to-complex levels of difficulty.
Job Duties:
• Creates questionnaires, conducts focus groups, facilitates usability tests as needed.
• Applies expert knowledge of research methodologies, design innovation, marketing strategies, business strategy, product management, competitive analysis, process engineering, and general industry trends to evaluate the member experience.
• May conduct research studies independently, assess findings and determine impact on the member, employee and USAA as a whole.
• Develops plans based on cross-company and multiple-channel perspectives; is expected to manage multiple projects and train more junior analysts as needed.
• Identifies VOC impact on the member, employee and USAA as a whole and communicates this information when necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelors’ degree or equivalent qualitative research work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in needs assessment, consulting and project management.
• Formal training in and experience in executing qualitative research methodologies (focus groups, Usability testing, etc.).
• Highly developed written and communication skills.
Preferred:
• Drive to synthesize data for business insight.
• Degree in research related field (e.g., psychology, anthropology, human factors.).
• MA or above.
• Highly collaborative nature and team focused attitude.
• Multi-tasking skills.
• Business experience in applying qualitative research techniques.
• Working Knowledge of and/or expertise in quantitative research methodologies.
