AnthroJobs of the Week, May 12, 2017

As ever, a range of jobs are possible this week for anthropologists at all levels and in many places and sectors.

On the domestic US front, there is a great mid-career job in Washington DC (minimum M.A. and 10 yrs experience) as a Senior Research and Evaluation Specialist with the Landesa Rural Development Institute.

Also on the eastern end of the US is a entry level position (one year contract) with Habitat for Humanity in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, as a Family Services Coordinator (through AmeriCorps).

On the western US shores, Big Fish in Seattle is looking for a senior user experience designer. This position actually calls for an applied anthropologist (with 5+ years of UX experience), which is something you don’t see every day.

Farther afield, Handicap International seeks an Inclusion Coordinator for a 4-month stint (with possible extensions) in Istanbul. The position calls for multiple skills and experiences; just the sort of thing an anthropologist is qualified to undertake.

It’s a big world; where will you go?
