What can you do with your BA in anthropology? JAMS Management Services, Inc., a small firm located in Portage, MI, is searching for a Technical Services Coordinator to work with a specific client, the InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA).

Qualifications include an Associates or Bachelor’s degree, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Some travel is required.

A much more specific MA-level position is offered by The Nature Conservancy (suburban Washington DC), which seeks a Bridge Collaborative Design Lead. Qualifications include:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., human-centered design, anthropology, industrial design, applied psychology, business administration, behavioral sciences, social entrepreneurship) and 4 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in design thinking, lean design, systems change, and/or rapid iteration approaches
  • Experience in mixed methods research, such as interviews, group conversations, surveys, live prototyping sessions, and analyzing, manipulating and interpreting statistical data
  • Experience in at least one of the focal sectors: environment, health, development
  • Experience leading or participating on cross functional teams

I don’t know what a lot of that stuff is, but it should be a great match for someone holding that very specific skill set.
